Christmas Blessing's

We are still looking for a few people or even some of your co-workers that would be willing to help with the gifts for some of the families that KV is hoping to bless this Christmas. One of the needs is Boots for two young girls. If you don't have the time to actually go and pick out gifts you can help by donating financially and the office will go and get the gifts. This is a great opportunity to "Give More" to those that are struggling this year. Let's help make their Christmas a good one !!!

Volunteer's Needed

We have just been notified by the Fire Marshall that we need to do some clean up here @KV. We need to clear some items from the stair wells and corridors. This needs to be done ASAP and we would like to have 3-4 men for Monday or Tuesday morning. We know how busy everyone is this close to Christmas but if you could give us a couple of hours would you please call the office @ 847-5343 OR see Carol on Sunday morning @ the service. Thanks !!

December 20th - Hymn's & Praise's

This month the Sunday Evening Hymn's & Praises will feature our own "Valley Voices" in a mini concert of Christmas music. They will be led by Debbie Hatfield and will all so feature live music.
Hey Everyone !! Just wanted to let everyone know that you can pickup your 2010 tithing envelopes. They will be available at a table in the foyer after the service this Sunday, December 13th.

UNB - Holiday Connections for International Students

This year, the International Student Advisor’s Office @ UNB will be matching International Students who cannot return to their home country over the holiday break, with a Saint John family who wants to reach out to our international community. This is your chance to bring the world into your home! Students who have registered for this program are from: Nigeria, China, India, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Are interested in a mutual sharing of cultures over the holiday break with an international student? Your commitment would be to invite an international student to your home for a meal, or to participate in an activity with your family (bowling, ice skating, family holiday tradition, etc.) once over the break. Deadline to register for this program is December 9th. If you have any questions, please contact either Bonnie Sudul: bsudul@unbsj.ca 648-5952 or Ase Berg: akberg@unbsj.ca 648-5618.

Annual Christmas Blessing

Hey Everyone !! We are finally into December and on the count down to Christmas. Is everyone excited ?? This is a reminder that as a "Church Family " we are getting ready to do our annual Christmas Blessing Baskets for families that need a little extra help this year. We have placed a sleigh in the main foyer as a central area to place your food items that you bring in. If you plan on helping in this area you have up until December 13th and there will be a list in the bulletin of items needed. We can accept turkeys at anytime as we have the freezer space. We are hoping to help at least 15 families so we really are hoping for a good response. God Bless you as you bless others !!
