Starting This Coming Weekend.

Due to the recent upgrades to receiving information (New Blog, New Website etc...) we have given our Sunday morning bulletin a format revision and a facelift. Instead of printing out MASS amounts of paper each week, we have decided to cut the bulletin size in half, provide just "essential information" on it, and provide it in b-e-a-utiful color. Now some of you might ask, "what about the rest of the information that was on the old bulletin? How do we get that, especially if we don't use the internet, or have access to the blog?" We realize not everyone uses the world wide web, so we are going to put all the information that would be included on the blog, in the bulletin, and any other news worth noting on one large document to be issued each month called "@KV Monthly." The monthly will be available at the back of the worship center each week, and will be updated, you guessed it, each month.

We are really excited about the new look of the bulletin, it has been strategically designed to promote and resemble the website, and thus the blog. Take a look.

Sunday Preview August 30, 09

Greeting's Kings Valley. Just a quick preview of what you can expect this Sunday at KVWC. Following up an incredible message from last Sunday (In case you missed it, check www.kingsvalley.ca to listen to all of our sermons) Pastor Jim will be wrapping up our series on Philippians. It has been an amazing journey through this book. We have learned about Grace, Peace, Strength in Suffering, shaping your worries, Kingdom Mission, and many more life changing ideas because of this amazing letter. Don't miss the concluding sermon this coming Sunday. Also happening this Sunday is the long awaited return of the Kelly Jay Band. The full crew will be with us to lead us in worship like only they can... It is going to be amazing. The spirit of God has been so evident in our services, they have been increasingly powerful each passing week. God is truly moving in and through our church, and we couldn't be more excited. Be in prayer and expectation for this coming Sunday, and believe that God has something specific and special to say to you!

Ladies and Gentlemen, you can officially BE EXCITED!

Over the past few weeks, we have noticed something happening in the life of our church...God is moving! We have literally watched as financial needs and pressures have been met time after time. We have witnessed people experiencing God to new levels in our Sunday services, as His presence has been literally overwhelming at times. We have been seeing people respond to God calling them to become a part of our ministries. Men and women are volunteering to help with Kidzworld, tech needs, to be in small groups, and to help with KV YOUTH. Literally, people are coming out of the woodwork to be a part of what God is doing in and around us, and WE COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED! It is so obvious as the days and weeks go on that God is breaking through our church. We are seeing new family after new family not only attend our Sunday gatherings, but literally want to be a part of what it is we are about, God's kingdom and His mission. It has been so exciting to hear testimony after testimony, week after week of the people of our church having real, life changing, unforgettable encounters with the living God. Kings Valley, we have reason to be excited! God is breaking down the barriers, old struggles, fears, burdens, and strongholds of our church, and is literally replacing them with His fresh power, and Spirit! God is moving right before our eyes! How amazing is that!

Now here is the best part... We believe He is just getting started. That more lives are to be changed, more people are going to come, more men and women are going to get involved and serve, and more people are going to know our Jesus! As we look to this fall, we are asking you, Kings Valley'ers, to pray that God's will for our church would be done, and that His unifying Spirit would bind us together as one, as we charge in to new waters, expecting HIM to transform us, Quispamsis, and the world in the process! If you didn't feel like standing up and clapping, or jumping up and down, you should now!

Be excited Kings Valley, be VERY excited. GOD IS ON THE MOVE!

Keep the conversation going! What has God done for you lately? What have you seen before your eyes? Let us know... Comment so we can all celebrate with you!

We Want You!

Hi Everyone,

SO the fall is FAST approaching, and we are gearing up for one of the best fall season's in recent history. The entire staff couldn't be more excited about what is going to be happening this fall. As we plan, schedule and dream, one thing remains apparent, we can't do this alone. God has given us a vision and you are a part of it. There is so much work to do for the Kingdom of God, and we truly want and need you, yea you! We need your specific gifts, personality, and strengths to bring this vision to a reality. Brent needs help with worship arts/ tech ministry and all that goes into our Sunday Ministry. Dave is looking for people to invest in our teens this fall at KVYOUTH. Dan is looking for people to lead, host, and be a part of small groups this fall, and Linda is in need of over 150 people willing to help at Kidzworld. If you haven't considered getting involved, you need to. Maybe you had in the past and are looking for the right time to get back on board. The time is now! Please consider jumping on board for the fall. If you are unsure about how you can contribute to our mission we would be happy to talk to you. Call the office (847-5343) or email us at family.kingsvalley.ca

Hi Everyone,

I (brent) just thought I would throw this out to all of you on the blogosphere. For those of you who are interested in worship music and are always looking for quality new stuff, I have found something here. Hillsong's latest album "Faith + Love + Hope" is really, really good. Personally, I have found great worship album's few and far between (maybe a song or two I like on average), but I will go on record and say that this one is solid.
Hillsong have essentially re-written the book as far as how Christians (western evangelicals at least) worship through music over the past 10 years or so, and this one is another gem. They continue to not only do great ministry, but make good music. This one's impressive musically, but more importantly, there is a great spirit about it, you can tell that they really aren't all that concerned with selling records, but that their hearts are for worshiping God through the art of music. So check it out. I promise you that you WILL be hearing SEVERAL of these songs at Kings Valley in the coming months.
